Wanting to harvest lots of strawberries this year? How about using old guttering against the side wall of your shed or house? It’s space efficient and productive, which means more strawberries!

Drill drainage holes in your guttering then attach it to a wall that gets good sunlight.
A week prior to planting place a quality potting mix in the gutters and mix with blood and bone.
Plant the strawberries about 20-30cm apart then cover all exposed soil with sugar cane mulch.
Water in well, but avoid watering the leaves. Keep moist, ensuring the potting mix doesn’t dry out.
